The CMP coverage includes all adjustments and repairs, accidental damage, and loss by fire or theft subject to the following terms:

1.) In the event the instrument deteriorates in performance, Hurst Music will        repair and regulate it at no charge.

​

2.) An instrument totally destroyed by fire or accidental damage will be                replaced with an instrument of equal value at no charge, provided                  reasonable proof of such loss is present.

​

3.) One time during this contract an instrument lost by theft will be replaced      with one of equal value at no charge, provided that the theft is reported to      the local police within 24 hours of discovery of the theft. Upon receipt of a      copy of that report, Hurst Music will replace the instrument.

4.) The deterioration of appearances, scratches, and finishes are NOT                covered in so far as it does not affect the playing of the instrument.

5.) Straps, strings, rosin, drumsticks, mallets, mouthpieces, and other            accessories are NOT included in this coverage.

​

6.) ALL ADJUSTMENTS AND REPAIRS MUST BE MADE AT HURST                MUSIC. Do not attempt any repairs on your own, or at another facility, as        it may void the coverage.

7.) INSTRUMENT IS ONLY PROTECTED BY THIS AGREEMENT WHEN          ALL FEES ARE PAID TO DATE.

8.) Hurst Music has permission to pick up the instrument for periodic checks        and service-- parental permission is not required.
